EVOLVER ARTS PRIZE WINNER

I am really pleased to announce that my photographic print has won the prestigious Evolver Arts Prize 2013 and is being exhibited at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton. The print also features on the Evolver magazine front cover (July/August issue) and is available from galleries and shops throughout the South West.

The print is taken from my recent series of large monochrome prints created in the darkroom using traditional photographic chemicals and paper. I painted and collaged onto True-Grain and Folex film to create huge ‘handmade negatives’ from which I take a contact print onto the light sensitive paper.

This is the first time one of my new prints has been on display to the public and it is an exciting opportunity to see it exhibited along with the other 49 finalists in the beautiful surroundings of the Thelma Hulbert Gallery.
